lupron is like a lame ass prom date

it's day 8 of my lupron injections and besides a few hot flashes, wicked tiredness and my inability to give myself an injection without hesitating every time, it's not too bad. where are my crazy hormone rage filled fits? including tonight i have 3 more 10u sq injections before my ultrasound and blood work on thursday.

i will have some exciting news about a project that will educate the general public about infertility and the different paths that couple's take to become parents in a few days:)

and, whoever left me the comment/assvice about stress affecting fertility - yea, i got it. we have been ttc for almost 3 yrs. i worked 3 days a week for the entire first year of ttc and had not yet started graduate school. i didn't even know what stess was and had no luck.

ps - welcome ICLW:)

Holy shit...yeah. Just graduate. You'll get pregnant then. (you do KNOW how often I heard that)...but really, my husband graduates nursing school in May, so maybe without all that school stress his sperm will start acting right!

Sorry for the Lupron Let-Down. I was totally wishing for migraines, hot flashes, and cold sweats. So so sorry you're feeling normal. ;-)

But seriously. I'm glad it didn't make you feel bad. (bet it makes you think things like, 'it's not working')...but it is.

OMG...I can't believe that some dumb ass left that comment about stress on your last post. Seriously, how hard is it for some people to keep their uneducated advice to themselves?

Lupron is killing me this cycle. I must have been too excited my first cycle to notice. Last night I had a headache so bad I went to bed at eight.

Sorry you had to get that comment, especially when you are dealing with lupron!

Good luck with educating the general public - may someone learn that removal of stress doesn't lead to pg!

I'm sorry your lupron is being nice. If you feel like faking it to get extra ice cream or pampering from your DH - I'd be supportive :)

Glad to read the Lupron is treating you kindly. I enjoyed reading about the conversations in your previous post. Cracked me up. I've had to absorb countless equally uninformed reactions that just make me want to claw people's eyes out. Most fertiles are just clueless.

Sorry you do not have any lupron horror stories. When I was at the right dose of follistim, all I really had was fatigue. It was most sad.

I would also support you if you wanted to pretend to have the hormone fits. Milk it for all it is worth, baby!

What an asshat! Can't believe someone was stoopid enough to post that on an infertile's blog.

Count your lucky stars that Lupron isn't making you totally loopy. I have heard most people hate the side effects.

Hang on throught the lupron...you can do it!

I always had way worse side effects from just Clomid...until I had IM progesterone. Now that is evil!

Amazing what some people will say. Love, love, love your comebacks in your last post, though! I wish I had your balls.

(Please don't take that the wrong way and bash me in your next post. I am in no way suggesting that your infertility is a result of your having immense balls. LOL!)

Isn't it funny how you've given yourself how many shots...but there's still hesitation? I totally had to psych myself up each and every injection. I thought about it WAY too much. ICLW

many people suffer from infertility, but this is not a problem that has no solution. only have to look for that best suits the type of infertility than one.
